OneFlesh Home ("we," "our," or "the App") is a household management application built for couples. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use OneFlesh Home:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo provided through Google or Apple sign-in.
• Household Data: Household name, zones, tasks, events, prayers, and declarations you create within the App.
• Calendar Data: If you choose to connect your device calendar, we access calendar event titles, times, and calendar names to sync events into the App. This data stays on your device and our backend; it is never sold or shared with third parties.
• Device Information: Push notification tokens for delivering notifications you have opted into.
• Usage Data: Streaks, XP, and gamification progress within the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App's features (task management, calendar sync, prayer tracking, household collaboration).
• To authenticate your identity via third-party sign-in providers (Google, Apple).
• To send push notifications you have opted into (reminders, streak alerts, household updates).
• To improve the App and fix bugs.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Convex, a cloud backend platform. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Both services employ industry-standard encryption and security practices.

We do not store your Google or Apple account passwords. Authentication is handled entirely through OAuth tokens managed by your sign-in provider.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• With your spouse/partner: Household data (tasks, events, prayers) is shared between members of the same household within the App. This is the core functionality of the App.
• Service providers: We use Convex (database), Clerk (authentication), and RevenueCat (subscription management) to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Calendar Permissions

OneFlesh Home requests access to your device calendar only if you choose to connect it. You can skip this step during onboarding or disconnect it at any time in Settings. We read calendar event data to display it within the App; we do not modify or delete your device calendar entries.

6. Push Notifications

You may opt into push notifications for reminders and household updates. You can manage notification preferences within the App's Settings or through your device's system settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

OneFlesh Home is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Access and update your profile information within the App.
• Disconnect your calendar at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the effective date above.
